Prefab Light Gauge Panelized Walls

We completed our first load-bearing light gauge panelized wall project in the mid-1980s, and we’ve been building prefab wall systems for customers across the U.S. ever since.

Whether you need load-bearing panelized walls or exterior bypass panelized walls, we can provide a turnkey solution. Our team works with GCs, architects, engineers and owners/developers early in the design process to add value and reduce cost.

And with no proprietary systems holding us back, we offer the design flexibility your project demands.

Cold-Formed Metal Framing (CFMF) Structures

Midwest Drywall specializes in CFMF construction. Our specialty engineering provides the technical knowledge and expertise to include:

  • Interior & exterior light gauge metal framing
  • Load-bearing structural projects
  • Floor systems
    • Composite deck (VersaDek, Vulcraft)
    • Joists & deck (EcoSpan, Hambro, etc.)
    • C-studs & metal deck

Our team has decades of industry experience understanding our scope and how other trades are affected by ours. We identify constructability problems and can provide various product substitutes as solutions.

From Our Fabrication Facility to Your Site

Controlled Environment

We use compression tables to get a true seated light gauge stud in the track, and weld our prefab wall panels for extra strength and durability.

On-Time Delivery

We can deliver 500-1K linear feet of panelized walls on one truck. Depending on your site, the panels will be bundled for slab delivery or sequenced on a flat trailer for individual hoisting.

Schedule Acceleration

Midwest Drywall crews are capable of installing approximately 15K square feet of panelized walls and the floor system in 10-14 working days.
